The Tamia estate in Lazio consists of over 2,500 trees, and the family have been deeply involved in promoting and improving agricultural development in the region since the 1920s. The rich volcanic soil is full of minerals particularly suited to olive growing, and the high levels of polyphenols found in Tamia are a testimony to the quality of the olives produced there.
A blend of 50% Leccino, 40% Frantoio and 10% Maurino Olives.
2024 Tasting Notes:
A striking green-gold hue signals Tamia’s Tuscan intensity, and aromas of green apple and tomato leaf lead into a palate rich with bitter almond, horseradish, and freshly cut grass. The finish is strong and lingering, with notes of chicory and black pepper. Use to finish a steak, with bruschetta, or simply drizzled over fresh pasta and parmesan.
