Galateo & Friends was established in 2002 by Marco Bonaldo, whose 100% Taggiasca extra virgin olive oils lay on the tables of some of the world’s highly awarded restaurants. The name Galateo, originally the title of an etiquette book written by a Renaissance Florentine, entered Italian lexicon as a general term for social etiquette. Embracing this standard of quality and refinement, Galateo’s ceramic bottles are often collaborations with their ‘friends’--renowned artists and designers who create the look of the bottle, and whose often playful designs are utterly contemporary.

Made with 100% Taggiasca olives, the oil itself is incredibly versatile, with notes of dried almonds, ripe fruit, and fresh flowers.

Burton Morris

Post-pop artist Burton Morris's olives immediately invoke the bold and bright graphics of the 20th-centry movement. Using block colours and thick lines, Burton's playful design is perfect for both art and food lovers alike.

Alessandro Enriquez

Enriquez’s An Italian Theory overflows with symbolism—hands, ingredients, and seasonings—all serving as tokens of good fortune and celebrating the togetherness of sharing a meal.

Antonio Marras

Sardinian fashion designer Antonio Marras described his designs as coming from a place of 'instinct'. His intricate and dynamic feminine figures on the bottle are the perfect marriage of fashion and food.
