At the forefront of Armatore’s mission is sustainability. They are selective about their fishing techniques; they will not source from overexploited stocks, they support the local fishing community and ensure their packaging is fully recyclable or biodegradable. The paper that they use is approved by the FSC indicating that it comes from wood from responsibly managed forests. Their packaging, as well as aesthetically interesting is designed to inform the consumer, allowing them to make the sustainable and informed choice.

This is produced from a classic process that respects the territory and the directives of the internation commission for the conservation of Atlantic Tunas. The bluefin tuna eggs are collected and pressed, salted, and very slowly dried.
