Espelette Pepper Oil
Attractive bottles with pieces of flavouring suspended inside for visual effect. A L’Olivier re-released these, replacing the former ingredients with higher quality versions and printing their origins on the bottle. Wonderfully authentic and richly-flavoured oils. Use for marinades, or to dress pizza and pastas.
This oil is now made using the Espelette pepper, alongside the original chili pepper, giving a much more aromatic and nuanced flavour, as well as a good chilli kick. The Espelette pepper is grown in the Pyrenees, and was given AOC status in 2000.
Ingredients: Extra virgin olive oil 95%, sundried tomato 4%, natural extract of espelette pepper 1%.
