The Ravida family's roots date back to the 14th Century in the West-Sicilian town of Trapani. Today, they still cultivate their olive trees, vines and lemon trees here, among the wild open spaces of the beautiful Sicilian macchia, full of aromatic herbs and ancient wild olive trees.
The Nocellara del Belice is a variety of olive that originated in the valley on the edge of the Ravida farm, and is still most famed for the style of oil that it produces.
