Alziari Caitellier Olives 220g

Cailletier olives are one of Alziari's specialities. Always having grown them in their olive groves, they sometimes press them to obtain their delicate oil, and sometimes leave the olives whole to eat. Native to the Cote d'Azure, Cailletier olives are harvested as they are begining to turn brown, and are small, without a lot of flesh, but very tasty and full-flavoured. Alziari have left these in brine with added thyme leaves to give a subtle herb note to the olives. Eat alongside cheese, in a Nicoise salad, or on their own with a glass of chilled white wine.
