Iliada Extra Virgin Olive Oil 500ml

Produced in the Kalamata region of the Peloponnese, Southern Greece, from the Koroneiki olive. Grassy green in colour, with a full and complex flavour, this excellent-value oil is useful both for cooking and for salad dressings where you might use balsamic vinegar and mustard as an emulsifier. Notes of tropical fruits such as passion and mango mingle with some herbaceous notes which keep the oil fresh, with a nice peppery finish. Given POD status in 1997, which guarantees that the olives are grown and pressed in the Kalamata region.
