In early January we entered two products into this years Great Taste Awards. Today, we were very pleased to learn that both the Framboise (raspberry) Fruit Pulp Vinegar and Virgin Hazelnut oil by A L'Olivier were awarded two stars by this years judges.
The Framboise vinegar was described by the judges as 'packed full of the berry wafting its remarkable freshly picked aromas. Succulent, juicy berry notes deliver their rounded sweetness and mouth-watering qualities to the vinegar..'. Another judge 'loved the balance of fresh fruit to sharp vinegar. A clever, fruity vinegar.'
The Hazelnut oil was described as 'delicious and desirable' which can be imaged in so many dishes. When tasting it the 'flavour is almost surreal... what a true delight on its own, or in sweet or savoury dishes - this oil inspires creativity. '
What the judges didn't try are these two products mixed together and we think that it is a winning combination.
